Up to 7 mm the head is unpigmented and there is a large melanophore in the dorsal contour of the tail which disappears afterwards; the first dorsal and the pelvic fins are not yet present. At 11 mm a large otocystic melanophore appears. As in other Gobiidae, the gas bladder appears very early,at approx. at 3.0 mm. |
