Comments: The sex ratio of migrating adults is fairly constant, with the number of females always exceeding the number of males. Spawning run commences when daily maximum stream temperature exceeds 5°C and extends for 2-3 weeks in May and early June and occurs over gravel or silt bottoms (Ref. 10928).
