Known from Kwangtung and Hainan Island; Dongjiang River, Beijiang River, Xijiang River drainages in Guangdong Province (Ref. 33380).
Known from Yunnan Province: Yuangjiang, Hekou; Hainan Island: Nanfeng, Haikou; Longzhou of Guangxi Province. Also found 10 specimens from Wanquanhe River and Nandu River drainages of Hainan Province(Ref.45621).
