Max. size:  15 cm NG (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: southwest Sumatra to Bali Strait, and Malaysia (Ref. 5756).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits coral reefs and rocky areas (Ref. 27550). Enters estuaries (Ref. 27550). Feeds on crustaceans and polychaete worms (Ref. 27550).

Threat to humans:  harmless
Country info:  Known from the Gulf of Tonkin, central and southern Vietnam (Ref. 12846); also from Quang Ninh-Cat Ba and Spratly islands (Ref. 58534).
