Distribution:  Africa: Cuango system (Kasai drainage, middle Congo River basin) in Angola (Ref. 11970). Report from the Lumege River (upper Zambezi) in Angola (Ref. 11970) unconfirmed in Ref. 120641.

Country info:  Present in the southern Congo River basin (Ref. 120641) in the Cuango system (Kasai drainage, middle Congo River basin)(Ref. 11970). Also reported from the Lumege River (upper Zambezi) (Ref. 11970) but this is unconfirmed in Ref. 120641. Type locality: Luache R. at Bange Ngola (Ref. 36656).
