Max. size:  6.7 cm SL (male/unsexed); 7.1 cm SL (female)
Environment:  demersal; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Western Pacific: estuarine zone of the Mekong, including the high estuarine tidal zone considerably upstream from the coastal province of Bac Lieu, Viet Nam.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in estuarine areas, including the high estuarine tidal zone. Feeds on benthic invertebrates. Sold fresh, often in mixed catches in the Mekong delta (Ref. 12693).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 18 March 2011 Ref. (124695)
Threat to humans:  harmless
