Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Helmand watershed in Afghanistan (Ref. 31729), Tarim River system and Gansu Corridor in China (Ref. 51717) and Iran (Ref. 39702).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in backwater of streams, lakes and pools over sandy or muddy bottom (Ref. 51717). Length type refers to body length and is assumed in TL.
