Family:  Trachyrincidae (Armoured grenadiers)
Max. size:  60 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 73 - 1280 m
Distribution:  Southwest Pacific: eastern Australia (New South Wales to Victoria) and New Zealand.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A benthic species (Ref. 75154) found on the continental slope (Ref. 7300, 75154).
IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated (N.E.) Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
