Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 0 - 1 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: Dominica northward to St. Barthélemy and southward to St. Lucia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-9; Anal soft rays: 6-8; Vertebrae: 28-29
Biology:  Occurs in rocky shallow surge zones (Ref. 50106).
