Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 2 - 30 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Cabo San Lucas and Mazatlán, Mexico to Chile (Ref. 9068) and the Galapagos Islands.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A very common species found on soft bottom (Ref. 9348).
