Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: known only from northern Australia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 2-6; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-23; Anal soft rays: 15-29. Anterior nostril with single projection (Ref 12392).
Biology:  Found on sand bottoms.
