Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 23 - 50 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Philippines (Palawan and Luzon south to Mindanao) (Ref. 90102)..
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 8-8; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Description: Unknown live coloration; complete lateral line with 23-24 tubed scales; striated pattern on light organ; gill rakers on first arch 1+8-9; greatest depth of body 2.4-2.8 in SL (Ref. 90102).
Biology:  Found in sand and mud bottoms in 23-50 m (Ref 90102).
