Max. size:  50 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 2 - 370 m
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Iwate Prefecture, Japan to the Sea of Okhotsk, the northern Sea of Japan, and the Bering Sea.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabit deep waters. Viviparous (Ref. 34817).
