Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 5.80000019073486 - 7.19999980926514, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: Sierra Leone and Liberia (Bomi Hills area) (Ref. 7372).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in swamps and swampy parts of brooks and small streams in the rainforest and forested savanna (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
