Max. size:  8.92 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 40 - 49 m, non-migratory
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: known only from Walters Shoals.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 14-14; Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-8; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 5-5. Entirely red in color without dark markings on body and fins (Ref. 35985).
Biology:  Only one specimen known (at the date of 20 Feb. 2013).

Threat to humans:  harmless
