Distribution:  Asia: Nam Theun of the Mekong basin in Laos.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-12; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Uniform dark blackish brown body (black in life), head and fins; an elongated, pointed nostril flap reaching the eye.
Biology:  Occurs in crevices between large blocks (Ref. 27732).
