Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 59 - 158 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: North Carolina to the east coast of Florida and the northwestern Gulf of Mexico west of Mobile Bay.
Diagnosis:  Vertebrae: 199-209. Lateral line pores to anus 31-32. Color is light tan to gray, with unpaired fins edged in black posteriorly.
