Environment:  bathydemersal; freshwater; depth range 305 - 582 m
Distribution:  North America: 5 artesian wells penetrating San Antonio Pool of Edwards Aquifer in and near San Antonio, Bexar County in Texas, USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in subterranean waters. Threatened by groundwater pollution (Ref. 10172).
IUCN Red List Status: Vulnerable (VU); Date assessed: 11 April 2012 (D2) Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
