Distinguished from all its congeners in Lake Ohrid by its orange flesh. Can be diagnosed from at least Salmo letnica and Salmo balcanicus by its osteological characters (Ref. 59043). |
Occurs in lakes. Spawns near sub-lacustrine springs along eastern shore of the lake in May- July (Ref. 59043). |
