Family:  Pomacentridae (Damselfishes), subfamily: Chrominae
Max. size:  5.1 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 1 - 40 m
Distribution:  Indian Ocean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits coral reefs, both lagoon and outer reefs, but not in areas exposed to heavy wave action, at depths of 1 to at least 40 m. Feeds on zooplankton, but rarely more than a meter above the shelter of the reef (Ref. 92902).
