Distribution:  Asia: India, Pakistan and Tibet (Ref. 41236). Reported from Afghanistan (Ref. 39701).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits mountains streams and rivers (Ref. 41236). Found usually in large deep and rapid flowing rivers, above 2566 m (Ref. 4832).
