Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 320 - 457 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Mauritius, Reunion and in the Mozambique Channel off western Madagsacar.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 8-9; Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-11; Anal soft rays: 12-12; Vertebrae: 27-27. This species has scales on the nape and breast; P1 11+3; no indication of hyperostosis (Ref. 91768).
Biology:
