Description: Characterized by pale greyish pink to pale yellow body color; presence of broad whitish bar from nape to posterior edge of eye in between brownish or red bands; presence of whitish stripe midorsally from forehead to snout; extremely long and filamentous white pelvic fins; single lateral-line scale; greatest depth of body 24.2-25.3 in SL (Ref. 90102). | |||
| Biology: | A cryptic species; occurs at the edge of the reef adjacent to sand. Also found in sandy fringe of coral reefs, common around low rock outcrops in 30-70 m (Ref 90102). | |||
