Max. size:  3.09 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Irian Jaya, Indonesia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in shallow streams usually slow-flowing through dense rainforest; always in clear water which may be deeply stained with tannin; bottom variable from sand to gravel, pebble and rocks (Ref. 27662).
