Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range - 6 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: known only from central and southern Oman.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 12-12; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-14; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 7-8
Biology:  An inshore species generally associated with rocky bottoms.
