Distribution:  Africa: Ubangui (Ref. 1884, 45441, 78218), Uele (Ref. 41590), middle Congo mainstream (Ref. 4910, 106245), Itimbiri, Lindi-Tshopo (Ref. 106290), Wagenia Falls (Ref. 41594, 106245) and Lualaba (Ref. 41590, 106245), but probably more widespread in the northern Congo River drainage (Ref. 78218).
