Max. size:  10 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Europe: Lake Pamvotis in Greece.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A short-lived species which occurs in lakes and lowland water courses, with little current. Feeds on invertebrates. Is threatened due to pollution and water abstraction. Spawns in May and June (Ref. 26100). Reaches up to about 10 cm SL (Ref. 59043).
