Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: Pohnpei, Caroline Islands.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 17-17; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 17-17. SL to 21 mm or greater.
Biology:  Known from one specimen collected in less than 1.5 m in the coastal waters of Pohnpei (Caroline Is.) (Ref. 1602).
IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient (DD); Date assessed: 12 March 2015 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
