Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  South America: Lake Titicaca basin in Peru and Bolivia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Not a seasonal killifish. Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
