Family:  Anthiadidae (Fairy basslets or Streamer basses)
Max. size:  9.3 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 100 - 330 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Australia and New Caledonia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 10-10; Dorsal soft rays (total): 14-14; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 7-7; Vertebrae: 26-26. This species has the following distinguishing characters: D X, 14; A III, 7; pectoral fin-rays 15-17(16); lateral-line scales 36-41; GR 12-13 + 26-30; vertebrae 10+16 (Ref. 132486).
