Family:  Nettastomatidae (Duckbill eels)
Max. size:  42.3 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 458 - 531 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: known from a single specimen from just south of Bimini at eastern edge of the Straits of Florida.
Diagnosis:  Vertebrae: 210. Posterior nostril at occiput, just in front of supratemporal canal. Median supratemporal pore present. Anterior vomerine teeth not enlarged. Predorsal 37% preanal, head 38% preanal.
