Distribution:  Southern Hemisphere: from southeastern Atlantic to southern part of Coral Sea and New Zealand between 18° and 34° S (most findings at 30° to 33° S).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-10; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 27-27
