Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 5 - 6; dH range: 5 - 12
Distribution:  South America: central and upper Amazon.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Feeds on worms, crustaceans and insects (Ref. 7020). Oviparous (Ref. 205). Aquarium keeping: in groups of 5 or more individuals; minimum aquarium size 60 cm (Ref. 51539).
