Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 100 - 300 m
Distribution:  Black Sea and Sea of Azov.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs over mud, sand and gravel bottoms of the continental shelf. Feeds on small benthic invertebrates (crustaceans, worms and mollusks) (Ref. 4845).
