Max. size:  7.15 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range - 15 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: endemic to southern Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in rocky areas. Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205). The male carries the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail (Ref. 205). Males may brood at 5.6 cm SL.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 17 November 2015 Ref. (130435)
