This new species is distinguished from its congeners by the following set of characters: D V,8; pelvic-fin rays 7, pectoral-fin rays 21-22; distance between the left opercular and subopercular spines (OPSOP) 22.2% of HL. Colouration: body brown and the absence of conspicuous dark marking on the light floor of the mouth (Ref. 131498). | |||
