Environment:  demersal; freshwater,
Distribution:  Africa: only known from the type locality (Lake Tanganyika).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Concealed mostly among rocks during daytime. Nocturnal habits prevail (Ref. 45232). Of no food value (Ref. 4967).
