Family:  Blenniidae (Combtooth blennies), subfamily: Salariinae
Max. size:  3.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 10 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: Philippines, Moluccas, western New Guinea, and Palau.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 12-12; Dorsal soft rays (total): 18-20; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 20-22
Biology:  Adults are found in tide pools and rocky shores to a depth of over 9 m. Oviparous. Eggs are demersal and adhesive (Ref. 205), and are attached to the substrate via a filamentous, adhesive pad or pedestal (Ref. 94114). Larvae are planktonic, often found in shallow, coastal waters (Ref. 94114).
