Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  South America: small tributary streams of rio da Fazenda, southeastern Brazil.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits narrow and shallow (about 20 cm deep) streams in a dense tropical forest (Ref. 57477). Encountered buried in litter bottom (Ref. 57477).
