Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: known with certainty only from the holotype collected from Bering Island (Commander Islands).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 32-32; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 27-27. Brown with darker head and back; fins grayish; pectoral yellowish, without spots (Ref. 43939).
Biology:  Inhabits the intertidal zone (Ref. 43939).

Threat to humans:  harmless
