Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Bering Sea coast of Alaska to Point Conception, southern California, USA.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 31-33; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 25-27; Vertebrae: 39-40. Caudal fin rays 10-12, pyloric caeca 60-69 (Ref. 50520).
Biology:  Occurs inshore, in tide pools on exposed coasts (Ref. 2850).
