Max. size:  6.7 cm SL (female)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 0 - 61 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: known only from a single specimen from Madang on the northeastern coast of New Guinea.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 8-8; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-12; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Description: Characterized by having an enlarged pore anterior and slightly medial to posterior nostril, another below and anterior to posterior nostril; pelvic fins 2.05 in head length (Ref. 90102).
Biology:  Collected from an outer reef slope off Cranked Island. Solitary and cryptic (Ref 90102).
