Max. size:  11.9 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathypelagic; marine; depth range 312 - 332 m, oceanodromous
Distribution:  Circumglobal convergence species. Southwest Atlantic between 23°24'S and 43°30'S (Ref. 47377).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 14-16; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 18-20
Biology:  High-oceanic and mesopelagic. Found in depths greater than 100 m at night. Size stratification with depth. Reach sexual maturity at 9,3 cm (Ref. 47377).
