Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 200 - 600 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: Bahamas and the northern coast of Cuba to the oceanic islands of Venezuela. Probably occurring in Colombia and Trinidad (Ref. 5217).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 14-14; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 13-13
Biology:  Found on soft or rubble bottoms.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 12 October 2018 Ref. (130435)
