Max. size:  3.72 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Central America: Pacific drainages between Jicote River near Parrita and the Esquinas River basin in Costa Rica.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits creeks and shorelines at elevations between 0 and 70 m. Recorded from stagnant waters and in all current velocities (Ref. 36880).
