Max. size:  14.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; depth range 3 - 15 m
Distribution:  Africa: Lake Victoria.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  All specimens caught less than 200 m from the shore over mud substrate in a sheltered gulf or bay, or in the lee of a large island (Ref. 4983). The stomachs of 7 specimens which were examined contained unidentifiable fish remains (Ref. 558).
