Biology: | Inhabits littoral areas with a sand or sand and rock substrate. Most localities are exposed but one is a sheltered gulf (Ref. 4983). The stomachs of a small number of specimens which were examined contained remains of cyprinid and cichlid fish (Ref. 558). | |||
