Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Lake Turkana.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Is confined to water more than 20 m deep and is probably most abundant in deeper water (i.e. at depths of 50-70 m) (Ref. 558).
