Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; depth range - 12 m
Distribution:  Africa: Lake Victoria.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Usually collected from exposed sandy beaches and exposed shorelines with a hard substrate, few from sheltered bays with organic mud bottoms (Ref. 4983). Specimens which were examined contained soft parts of gastropods in the stomach (Ref. 558).
