Max. size:  10.4 cm SL (male/unsexed); 8.5 cm SL (female)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: only known from Lake Kachira, Uganda (Ref. 52362).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 14-16; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-10; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 9-10. Profile slightly convex in fron of eyes.
Biology:
